The copula in Medzor is formed by using the accusative suffixes, which are added to the predicate. The copulative meaning is recognized by the fact, that there is no transitive verb. Medzorian grammarians sometimes describe it using the notion of a null-verb. The copula sentence may be static (the subject doesn't change) or dynamic (the subject changes, "becomes" something). In the wolf-gender, the dynamic form is the same as the static one (-mü), therefore the verb rachk ("change") is used in the dynamic case.
Mür džedviro. Rabbit is small.
Žeř läňvika. Dragon is big.
Lát nûmü. Wolf is grey.
Dynamic:
Pücöc zurgnülü läňval. King's palace is becoming big.
Ungadže ewmáni riznewini nûmü. The hair of the old main is becoming gray.
Arok sirgmü rahgne. The fight is getting hard.
Categorization - the accusative agrees in gender with the subject.
Lát äšemü. Wolf is an animal.
Gamendi vigro. Gamendi is a mountain (flower gender).
Ežla líreka. The sun is a star.
Damel zürgro. Damel is becoming a king.
Pronominal subjects - if the predicate is a substantive, the ending agrees with its gender:
Ûň žeřka. It/This is a dragon.
Ûň Lenaro. It/This is Lena.
If there is no substantive, the ending agrees with the referent:
Černka ibřa. Kaže edzvika. I have a book. It is beautiful.
Mälro ergařa. Roli edzviro. I met a girl. She was beautiful.
